Four Cativa CBD Athletes Headed to 2020 FedEx Playoffs

We’re happy to share the big news: four Cativa CBD athletes, Marc Leishman, Rory Sabbatini, Brian Gay, and Michael Thompson are headed to the FedEx PGA Playoffs this month. This series of three golf tournaments will determine this year’s season champion in the U.S. PGA Tour. 

U.S. PGA Tour FedEx Playoffs Schedule

First up is The Northern Trust, rotating between Liberty National Golf Club and TPC Boston August 19-23. The BMW Championship, previously known as the Western Open, opens to the top 70 Tour golfers once The Northern Trust has concluded. It will take place in Olympia Fields, Illinois August 27-30. Marc Leishman is a previous winner, having topped the leaderboard there in 2017. And finally, the TOUR Championship will be held again at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta September 4-7. The thirty remaining top players will participate. Due to the pandemic, much of the Playoffs will take place without spectators this year. 

Cativa CBD Athletes Primed for the Fight

Michael Thompson has had a great summer on the tour, taking the win previously at the 3M Open in the Twin Cities. Leishman, Sabbatini, and Gay also maintained rankings high enough to qualify for the playoffs (see here for the regularly updated standings list.) In recent years, the PGA has made adjustments so that the player with the best stroke adjustment and the best 72-hole score takes the win. Here are past winners:
